Wedding Fashion – Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

To celebrate Deathly Hallows coming to theaters this weekend, I decided to recreate the looks sported by the prettiest witches we know at Bill and Fleur’s wedding.

Deathly Hallows Wedding - Luna Lovegood

“Like her father, Luna was wearing bright yellow robes, which she had accessorised with a large sunflower in her hair.”

Deathly Hallows Wedding - Hermione Granger

“Hermione] was wearing a floaty, lilac-coloured dress with matching high heels; her hair was sleek and shiny.” Notice the magical Mary Poppins expendable beaded bag?

Deathly Hallows Wedding - Ginny Weasley

Fleur’s bridesmaids, “Ginny and Gabrielle, both wearing golden dresses, looked even prettier than usual […].”

Deathly Hallows Wedding - Fleur Delacour

“Fleur was wearing a very simple white dress[…]”
She’s also wearing Great-Aunt Muriel’s tiara.

I hope we’ll see the wedding in the movie, I can’t wait to see the outfits!

We do actually see it, in which there’s a magnificent dress not following the book’s descriptions. Its design has also apparently been “inspired without crediting” by another designer’s dress :3
