Christmas is coming soon, and the girls just came back from shopping. They bought their outfits for the big dinner/party at Kristy’s and they will be gorgeous.
Kristy just gave a holiday twist to her usual uniform by wearing a Christmas sweater and plaid shoes. Since the party’s at her place, she decided to be Santa and wear the hat.
Claudia fell in love with this dress the moment she saw it. It had the same pattern as a pair of shoes she owned, and almost never wore. She added some holiday-themed earrings: a Christmas light in each ear, and the bauble in her third hole.
Mary Anne was really glad to find a gorgeous dress which would go perfectly with her pearl jewels. She loves the classy look of the outfit, with the patent leather kitten heels bringing a nice touch.
As usual, Stacey put her dad’s credit card to good use. She loves to pair blue with metallics; it really sets off her hair. Needless to say, she never say no to new diamonds, diamonds, this time.
Dawn was in town for two weeks, and it was a while since she last saw her friends. She chose the same look she’s sported since she’s gone back to Cali for good: hippie with Native and tribal influences. She dressed it up for the holidays with a silk scarf and beautiful pieces of jewelry.
Abby stays casual even when she dresses up. She put on a dress, but nothing too far from her usual look: polka dots, bows, comfortable fabrics, flats. She even puts her usual ironic touch in her jewelry: Christmas stockings and a plastic bow. She also brought an ugly Christmas sweater, “just ’cause it’s funny”, she said.
Mallory’s look includes her favorite colour, green. As she paired it white white and gold, her outfit looks a bit like a forest in winter. Even at Christmas, she still wears some brogue shoes, and she is really glad she found a pair in such a gorgeous shade of green. Her earrings are still holiday-themed, even if they are less ironic or funny than Claudia’s or Abby’s.
Jessi chose a dress that is really classy and comfortable at the same time. The way the fabric flows is gorgeous on her figure, tall and slender, and the scarf and flat shoes really compliment the outfit.
Shannon went for a Mad Men-ish look, in holiday colours: red and white. The Mary Jane heels really add to the retro feel, and the pearl and gold jewelry brings a classy touch to the outfit.
The Baby-Sitters Club and I would like to wish you all a dibble holiday season!
